About Us

LG solutions was formed by former Local Government (LG) Finance Professionals, recognizing a need for up to date professional advice and support to meet the needs of Local Government Finance Professionals. 

Through its resources, LG solutions has in total over 30 years of direct Local Government management and experience, including the fields of;

  • Financial Management,
  • Local Government Accounting,
  • Information Technology Management, and
  • IT Solution Implementations (both Financial and Non Financial).


Ken Crawford has been involved in Local
Government Accounting, Financial Management and Auditing for over 18 years.

Ken is both a Chartered Accountant and a CPA, is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and is also a member of the NSW Local Government Auditors Association (where he has served as a both a committee member and also as chairperson of their Technical Sub Committee).

Ken is the editor of our monthly newsletter
LG "Debits and Credits" - a subscriber based newsletter specifically written to primarily support the NSW Local Government Finance Professional.

In his spare time, Ken is a guest lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences for Business & Engineering in Wiener Neustadt, Austria.

 		   Manuel Schuldt arrived at LG Solutions with over 6 years of Local Government experience, having been a manager with Spencer Steer – Chartered Accountants that specialise in Local Government Audit.

Manuel has played a leading role in the audit of over 25 Councils in NSW, and has been involved in all facets of Local Government accounting, reporting & control.

As well, Manuel brings to the team his talent for Excel programming, and will play a big part in the roll out of our a “tailored” Local Government solutions for your desktops!

Manuel’s arrival also means that should you find a need for some “hands on” help with your End of Year Accounts or require some “on site” assistance during the year on anything of a “local government accounting or financial management” nature, we are now able to make a visit to your doorstep!
